So men are bad and Gillette is going to show us the way. LMFAO. I dumped Gillette years ago. I buy vintage era TTO and double edged blades from Israel and Turkey. Shark Derby to name a couple. Why on earth do company's feel the need to offend half or all of its clientele when there is no need to do so? I.E. Dicks sporting goods trashing guns. No one asked them but they jumped in and it hit the bottom line. I think business school today is very lacking. https://youtu.be/koPmuEyP3a0
Haven't touched Gillette in years. I switched o a weighted safety razor, Merkur blades, and a fine badger brush, with a nice Sandalwood soap. You will never get me to switch back to any kind of 3, 4, 6 blade razor with rubber fins, gel pads, and foam. I get a much closer shave that lasts days and no rashes or other issues. Nothing I own is Gillette there is so many better options out there.
If you want something different check out Art of Shaving, Harry's, Dollar Shave Club, etc.
When your sales are lacking because Dollar Shave Club has taken some of your market, Gillette's marketing department decided to sell an idea instead of a product. So maybe they assumed men were going to socially change into ****'s and think about their choices as they look at themselves in the mirror.
Men shave, because they have to and or want to and what to cut your face with is a choice, its not a metoo choice or any other choice.
Harry’s is the latest company to join the ranks of organizations pandering to SJW-culture with a new video released Sunday night on social media, which many viewers feel unfairly bashes men. Harry’s, however, claims its video is only critical of “toxic masculinity.”
The video features phrases like “man up,” with a red line to signify that they are hurtful, and reinforce “toxic masculinity.” The video does not attempt to define “toxic masculinity.” It ended with the phrase “it’s time for a new definition of masculinity.”
It has come out that Gillette is running their regular adverts in Saudi Arabia where the government puts out videos on how to properly beat your wife. (no sticks or hard objects)
Hairy women is their largest market. They will dull the blades the fastest and Gillette understands that is their best market. Bringing back the straight razor is the answer for men and it has been getting traction.
Target brand throw aways and Barbasol cream. Haven’t intentionally purchased a Gillette product in years but now I will research what they make and make sure if it.
