So while the White House & Trump have been general today objecting to Cohen's information, complaining about fake news, they not have addressed specifically the Buzzfeed article and claims.
They have been asked by multiple sites but there is not a flat out denial of the Buzzfeed claims.
Doesn't mean anything. No other media outlet has yet substantiated the claims and all have been very transparent about the fact they haven't verified the claims made.
There's no way in hell Barr would be able to withhold any of the investigation from the public. At this point, Trump's entire presidency hangs in the balance, 100% based on what Bob Mueller finds.
Both democrats and republicans, CNN MSNBC & Fox News, as well as the American people will all demand it.
Dems will subpoena the report if they have to, but the American people want to be able to see the evidence for themselves and draw their own conclusions.
Why would he not commit to publishing the findings? Especially after all the cries to "put it out there" by critics of the investigation.
Mueller will plow ahead as if none of this is happening....and then he will make a report. The House has subpoena power...and can begin their own inquiry into this. They will put pressure on Mueller to verify this story prior to the final report.
We're getting close, folks. Look for the Trump supporters here to ratchet up the fake news threads and for them to increasingly lie and spin for Donald as the walls are closing in on ol' Mushroom Donny.
If it is true that Trump asked his attorney to lie to Congress, he needs to be removed from office as soon as possible. He's a Russian stooge.
If a President were to be found guilty of the Articles of Impeachment in the US Senate, what is the procedure for removing him (or her) from the White House?
Tried unsuccessfully to google the answer but there is not a lot of info or precedence available.
*do they have to vacate immediately after being convicted, or do they get a 30 day notice? 48 hrs? til sundown?
*are they physically removed (and by whom) from office if they refuse to leave by the time their notice is up?
*is someone assigned to run and grab the nuclear codes and remove the football from his (or her) presence?
*Nixon was able to get a lift on Marine 1 but he resigned on his own, would a president that was impeached and removed from office be given any king of travel expense or per diem to safely get back home?
He sounds really really pissed. Nixon was impeached for this exact thing.
Cohen is NOT a government employee. He has the free will to say "no" and quit. Non issue.
