One idea how to solve that dispute might be to change the constitution in order to reduce a presidential term from 6 to 4 years, and limit the number of terms to 2. This way Maduro's second term would already be half over and the country could get prepared for the election in 2021, without having to wait another 6 years.
Until 2021 the president's power has to be reduced to the original state, before the usurping began.

Ven crude is so thick it has to be diluted before it can even be shipped.....refining it is expensive
USA does not even need it now ..

Venezuela should do the refining itself because that is where the money is. Exporting crude lacks the added value. Similar to the drug business
