Democrats really do seem to losing it. They propose all these new programs but there is absolutely no way to pay for it.

It's sort of sad how far the Democratic party has gone downhill. It would be easier to respect their position if they told Americans what taxes will increase to pay for their new schemes.

They aren't even trying to make their case. They basically are proposing things that they know are lies that they can't follow through to manipulate emotional people into voting for it.

Why don't they come out with a list of tax increase to pay for all this.

Looks like it's nothing more than a big dream.

Low-carbon electricity grid: Half a trillion a year

Net-zero emissions system: At least 130 billion a year

Guarenteed Jobs Program: At least 680 billion a year

Universal health care: 3 trillion a year

Guarenteed Green Housing: 160 billion to 420 billion a year

Study does not include universal day-care either that Democrats are proposing.

Cutting the military budget in half would pay for almost everything except healthcare. Last year Americans spent 3.5 trillion on health care, so it’s a wash.

Next.

It's time to identify the promoters of this nonsense as every bit a threat to the core values which drive the American Experiment as Nazism and Marxism. We can't punish them for their thoughts alone, but when the bullying tactics common to ANTIFA and the likes are exposed, we have every right to respond, and to pay them, and their fellow-travelers back with a generous rate of compound interest.

Kinda reminds me of the massive tax cut Trump gave all his rich buddies that oughta cost us over a trillion a year. Where’s the Republican outrage?

No, it doesn't. Cutting the defense budget in half would only net $358 billion, or less than a quarter of what the green new disaster would cost, not even counting health care. You're also ignoring the fact that we are running unsustainable budget deficits already, and that both medicare and social security trust funds are going to be empty in less than twenty years. That's some "wash."

And if we simply stopped medicare, social security, Medicaid and welfare, we can pay for one third of AOC's green deal each year.

A "proposal" that costs $90 trillion and $5 trillion annually is so ridiculous that only a child (or AOC) could possibly think it could ever come to fruition.

It is simply another absurd liberal fantasy which is economically impossible, yet appeals to those who have a first grade knowledge of math and economics, i.e. the standard dem voter.

Lol….you'd of down well in 1930's Germany, ridding that country of "undesirables". Too bad it won't work here. All of the dinosaurs who foam and froth over AOC will be long gone when the Green New Deal rolls in, I only hope it won't be too late when it does. I believe that it will.

Bogus figures from Koch backed groups.

They don't like anything to cut back on oil usage.
