So what did you do with tis information other than post it anonymously nine years later to an internet forum so as to deflect from the massive iceberg that the Trump presidency is about to hit?

See. Deflection.

Nope. Here is something about it on wikipedia. They can't vote in federal elections, but in many states, if they have been living in the US with their parents before turning 16, some local precincts allow for for non citizens to vote.

and NBC is reporting on it:

House GOP passes measure blasting allowing non-citizens to vote in local elections

"Though it remains illegal for any non-citizen to participate in federal and state elections, federal law leaves it up to the states to decide whether non-residents can vote in local or special elections. Non-citizens currently can vote in some local elections in 11 states.

To date, there is no record of an undocumented immigrant who has recently crossed the border and cast a vote in one of these elections. San Francisco warns undocumented immigrants that their information could be accessed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers."

I guess we really have to be careful with Chihuahuas. And I think Sharpeis are from China, as well as pekineese. And there is always the German sheperd.

What a ridiculous load of BS.
That's not true, and you know it.

Where do you live?
Immigrants Are Getting the Right to Vote in Cities Across America

States decide what goes on in their states ... separate from federal elections.

Let me ask you, how many examples would you require before you would say it's not BS? A few years back a a TV station in a small Florida county simply examined jury questionnaires, then they compared those that indicated non-citizen on the jury form to voter rolls.

https://www.nbc-2.com/story/16961885...-investigation

Given the methods and amount of people involved in that small county one could easily surmise that state wide there would be enough votes to swing an election like the one 2000 where only a few hundred votes made the difference. Whether it's one vote or thousands of them this is something that needs to be addressed.

A state cannot require verification of citizenship on the federal voter registration form, the state is required to accept the federal form. As legal non citizens they can obtain all the documentation required to register so they are left on the honor system. The answer is quite simple, require proof of citizenship on the federal form and all others.

Once upon a time people could vote in the US if they only went halfway through the naturalization process and filed papers of intent. Many never followed through to gain full naturalized citizenship either because they saw no need or they thought they were citizens after filing their intent.
