Conservatives are being scammed by liberal Fox News on Venezuela. Democracy is use interchangeably with socialism. In a way that leaves a false impression of freedom and democracy.
Don't get my message wrong. Fox is still far better than other leftist media but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be called out when they try to fool people.
Guaido is every bit the socialist that Maduro is.
Why would it be better to support one over the other when they are both going in the same direction ? When supporters of Guaido are talking to media they talk about democracy. Leaving off what they really are talking about is Socialist Democracy. The same thing and path to destruction as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders and most of the democrat presidential hopefuls want for America.
If not knowing what Guaido and his supporters are really talking about it sounds much different. Trish Regan of Fox Business coverage of Guaido leaves a false impression.
More seriously, the replacement of a communist thug by a different kind of socialist will not eliminate the the predecessor to Maduro, in the Armed Forces and intelligence service. Even with amnesty, they would stay behind, with help from Russia, Cuba, and China, to destabilize any new regime and spark a full-blown civil war, perhaps leading to calls for U.S. military intervention.

It is not possible use them interchangeably. One can exist without the other, both can exist together or neither can exist together. They are two different things, two different topics.

In context !!!
"In a way that leaves a false impression of freedom and democracy"
Per the link :
Fox Business added, "President Trump has vowed to use the 'full weight' of America's power to help the poverty-stricken country go from a socialist state to a genuinely democratic Venezuela." This may be the goal of Trump, who later spoke to Guaido over the phone, but the members of the Socialist International orchestrating this regime change do not want to see the end of a socialist state in Venezuela.
Many on the left don't know it.
They are used to being fooled by other liberal media.
Fox is the best, with their high ratings, at getting across the leftist POV.
Many conservatives hear what the left is saying before they counter with truth, commonsense and reason.
That's what makes Fox watchable. Its not one sided vomit like other media.
That's why its important to point out any misinformation.

It is not hard to do, since they take FOX & Breitbart for gospel.
Trump is trying to replace one socialist with another socialist, but unfortunately does not even understand the words he uses. He says he wants to replace socialism with democracy when Venezuela is an example democratic socialism. If anything, his actions will remove the "democratic" from the equation, and Venezuela will remain socialist, but it didn't get there via democracy, but via foreign intervention.

It's more one-sided than any other major network, except maybe MSNBC.
