Throughout history and even present day affection between women is and has been perceived as more acceptable than such displays amongst males even though they do it anyway regarding tolerance variations public versus private that are dependent as to how it triggers a reaction if any and that which is best left unsaid.

Just be glad that we each have a significant other that accepts each other as they are. PDA too. Heck, my wife and I still hold hands and gives each other a kiss in public. We're not worried about who's watching. If people doesn't like what they see, then they're the ones with the problem. Because they can surely look the other way and mind their own business.
My husband likes to be affectionate everywhere we go (not in an obscene way), I just wonder if it bothers anyone to see two people of the same sex kissing or holding hands in public?
