Nuts...They smeared Ed Gillespie with a vile TV ad hunting down brown children they knew didn't represent the man or his values all the time this kind of stuff hanging in their closets.

It seems Repub Ed Gillespie was the only man who didn't wear blackface.
They should have another election.

The problem is that insisting that a person having once worn "blackface" disqualifies people from holding public office, not to mention insisting that it disqualifies a current officeholder, is ridiculous. This is the Democrat left's neo-Marxist "Political correctness" lynch mob style orthodoxy enforcement agenda going off of the rails, yet again.

Talk about evil. This Democrat left driven agenda and its methods are consistently far worse than whatever they are hunting down to ruin and destroy.

It is a mistake to concede the premises that this agenda promotes, even if it provides an opportunity to hoist these people by their own petards, as many are cheering for here and with the Lieutenant Governor's pending sexual assault charge.

We must realize that the enemy here is this vile agenda, and not the individuals who might be hurt by it. We need to step back and not allow ourselves to fail to see the forest because we are busy dealing with the trees.

The effort to disqualify this governor and having him removed for office for having worn blackface is a big mistake. Likewise for anyone else that is determined to have behaved similarly.

Try to maintain some perspective here, people. The enemy here is not these people. It is the Democrat left's extremely vile, uncivil and thoroughly intolerant "Political correctness" agenda.

You’re offended by blackface now? When did this start?

Or perhaps conservatives wouldn't rat each other out for something they would deem as "harmless."

Default 3rd in line for VA governorship admits he wore blackface in collect at 1980 college party

oh man, this just keeps getting deeper and deeper..

"Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring admitted to wearing blackface during a college party in 1980, the latest stunning, political bombshell to rock Richmond as the state’s embattled governor and lieutenant governor also find themselves embroiled in scandal.

In a lengthy statement on Wednesday, Herring, a Democrat, said he wore brown makeup and a wig in 1980 to look like a black rapper during a party as an undergraduate at the University of Virginia."

Quote:
Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam and Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax are already facing controversies, and Herring would be next in line to be governor after those two men.

All three are Democrats.
how far back will they have to go to find a replacement? is the janitor's background clean?

This is really about Northam revealing just how horrendous the ultra-left wants to push abortion. The Democratic Party cannot afford to have a D going on the radio and talking about "keeping the infant comfortable" while the mother decides whether to save him.

This blackface business is part of southern culture like the stars and bars. It's what they do when they party. We can't kick people out in VA for doing this when they were kids. Won't be anyone left.
