I gave serious thought to switching from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party when Omar was nominated and the Democrats did not withdraw their support, as Reagan's Republicans did when David Dukes go the GOP nod for either Senator or Governor from Louisiana because of his KKK membership. I did not switch because my hard-left views would not be welcome in the GOP. The Democrats should make clear that tropes from the Protocols of the Elders of Zion have no place in the party.
