Last time I was in Rome the streets surrounding Roma Termine literally looked like a third world country with ****, **** and bear bottles strewn all about. Tourists were accosted at every step by Indians trying to sell them things they didn't want, Middle-Easterners begging, and Africans doing both in extemely agressive ways.
I got into it real bad with an African who tried to aggresively pahandle me and my family. I witnessed some sort of drug or prostitution deal going bad in a park at night and turning violent, and the police arrest a middle-eastern man who was prowling around the Colosseo at night, and search his backpack. On every news program the topic was constantly the refugee crisis, and yet, when we jumped on a tourist bus, the canned tour gleefully and obliviously discusses how great it is that Rome is a multicultural city.
It was about the same for every city I visited, and armed soldiers with serious firepower guarded monuments wherever we went. On top of everything, Italy is broke and cannot submit a borrowing plan that the EU will sign off on.
Though I didn't see it, I understand that there is a real crisis with Romani burning garbage and fouling the air-quality.
You bet these people like Donald Trump, and it is not because they are stupid, but because they are for-real "woke." Multiculturalism had brought them to the brink.
By the way, they have their own Trump. His name is Matteo Salavi.
They like Trump because he is against dirt and pollution? hahahahahahaha

So Italy (a nation I lived in for 2 years) has all these issues, and NONE of them are caused by actual Italians?
The man who designed the float meant it to disparage President Trump. The inscription on the Twitter sword says "DAZI VOSTRI", or "here's your f**king tariffs".
I'm guessing that the faithful followers of President Trump don't actually understand that the Italians are laughing at the President.
Satirical floats by definition are mocking, ironic, sarcastic, scornful, ridiculing, etc. The Italians were making fun of Trump. It's disappointing because I was kind of hoping we could give him to the Italians. Bummer man.
