Doesn't matter who wrote the speech, he stated the facts, and everything was, and is the opposite of what the screwy dems say about him.

the funny thing is that the trump that made that speech has been with us all the time. the problem is that the left hates him so much that they refuse to let the world see that version of trump.

What a weird thing to say about a guy who has dedicated himself to seeking publicity his entire adult life. The Trump version we see has been pretty darn consistent for more than three decades.

Yes, he always has been the same guy - arrogant and bullying.

He didn’t write that speech, BTW. Anyone who has paid any attention to him at all knows he doesn’t speak like that unless he’s in front of a TelePrompTer.

Who cares? It's always about policy.

I agree, I thought it was a GREAT speech. But he’s proven to me his actions don’t and won’t ever match up

The Trump who goes on international TV throwing his own intelligence community under the bus while standing next to a murderous dictator and failing to call him out for his country's attempts at interfering with our elections has also been with us all the time. The Trump who continually goes off on name-calling Twitter rants with little basis in fact has also been with us all the time. The compulsively lying Trump who presents such gems as North Korea no longer being a nuclear threat has also been with us all the time. The Trump with a well-documented history of reneging on contracts and deceit such as Trump University has also been with us all the time.

One speech written by someone else and mechanically read off a teleprompter by Trump changes none of that.

Do the left write his tweets for him? How do they stop this "nice' version of Trump from being viewed. You make the left into some kind of marionette masters pulling Trumps strings. If Trump never Tweeted or said things in off the cuff interviews it might make more sense, but this stuff directly from him.
