Get used to it, sonny . It's always been that way in this old man's experience. Bill is still a very well used talking point in right wing forums. I think W would be more so if Trump wasn't so deserving a target.

I agree it's silly but humans are humans no matter the generation.

As for the relevance, it comes by way of the guy claiming the FBI couldn't effectively judge behavior under the auspices of the 25th because they were in the bag for the left. I dispute that.

Rosenstein? A longtime registered Republican. Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III? He was a registered Republican when GOP President George W. Bush appointed him as FBI director, and he still was as of 2017. James B. Comey? A longtime registered Republican before testifying in 2016 that he no longer was. McCabe? As CNN reported recently, he voted in the 2016 Republican presidential primary.

Trump is borderline unable. He just does not have the mental horsepower to understand the complexities of geopolitics. He is a moron, everyone who works for him has said so. That meets the definition of unable to fulfill his duties. They were entirely justified in what they did. I would be extremely surprised if members of his cabinet did not, or are not currently, having similar conversations. They are just not admitting it.
A "moron" that ****s super models, owns a big jet, has billions in assets and won the presidency to the dismay of establishment whores on the right and left.

What does that make the rest of us?

This OP's post did not age well.

US won’t charge ex-FBI official McCabe, a Trump target
Quote:
Federal prosecutors have declined to charge former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, closing an investigation into whether the longtime target of President Donald Trump’s ire lied to federal officials about his involvement in a news media disclosure, McCabe’s legal team said Friday.

The decision, coming at the end of a tumultuous week between the Justice Department and the White House, is likely to further agitate a president who has loudly complained that federal prosecutors have pursued cases against his allies but not against his perceived political enemies.
Oops!

I wonder how many more conspiracies the Trumpies are going to proffer, only to have them eventually shot down by Trump's own administration?

Sadly, they will keep believing new conspiracy theories anyway.

"Fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s book tour began with a “60 minutes” interview this week in which he confirmed that he commenced an effort to remove President Trump from office, citing his concerns with the president’s supposed ties to Russia, for which no evidence has ever surfaced."

Andrew McCabe was far from the only FBI official to disgrace himself. Other now-fired FBI officials, such as James Comey and Peter Strzok, helped transform the FBI into a political weapon to sabotage the president through the baseless Trump-Russia investigation. There are still only two primary explanations for their conduct. The first is they were simply incompetent and commenced a probe without sufficient nonpartisan evidence. The second and more likely explanation is that McCabe and his cohorts were on a hell-bent quest to overturn the results of the election. Call it what it was: a soft coup attempt. Luckily for our republic, the coup attempt failed."

Hard to believe this could happen in our country. How would the media act if the Obama administration was treated this way?

Actually what's hard to believe is what is happening in our country with Trump in office.

If there was such a coup with McCabe, why did the charges get dropped?

Another nonsense fantasy conspiracy ala Pizzagate that is obviously stupid to anyone who gives it the slightest critical examination.

The real question is just how high in the Obama administration did the corruption go?

The fact that such experienced, professional people appointed by both Rs and Ds -- people responsible for enforcing the laws of the country -- were driven to contemplating such extreme action proves just how abnormal and dangerous Trump really is to both the office of the president and the country. In that light, considering invocation of the 25th Amendment is the ultimate act of patriotism by people who put country before party.

This wasn't about whether Trump was a Dem or a Republican president--it was about law and order, and the need to insulate the office of the presidency from a bad poseur. And they, as many, believed Trump to be that bad.

As do 60% of the country. Thank god there are some intelligent sane people monitoring this immoral, ignorant loose canon of a so-called president, because unfortunately, if he destroys the country, it is not a matter of Dems saying--see, we were right, because it will not matter any more. This demented bozo is capable of destroying the country. Lest we forget, Trump, the clueless candidate, queried the military as to why we have nukes if we can't use them?

With all the crap he pulled with the Russians, and Putin, obstruction of justice, relating other country's classified info to the Russians, and his not-so-secret Moscow project--the DOJ would be derelict in its duty if they did not look at Trump's behavior as both irrational and traitorous. They should be commended.
This
They are true patriots cause we all know that
Trump wasn't duly elected.
Simple as that!

People that weren't fortunate enough to be born with a lot of inherited wealth.

Obama left office in 2016, this was Trumps justice department time to move onto the next "coup".

It wont be long before Trump becomes a member of the deep state, he might be the only likely conspirator left after Barr.
