Didn't....not … is a wall of confusion. I suggest they are not confused.
As a small country in a hostile area they understand the necessity of being unified.
My opinion is influenced by the noise and static of Hannity and Carlson, but also by the editorial choices Fox often makes. I don't believe that people like Faulkner, et al, make those editorial choices, but the news department does, and they're dreadful. And oddly enough, O'Reilly used to hit the wall on Republican cheer leading and sometimes called things pretty
squarely.
CNN is nearly as bad on the alleged news side, but their commentary, aside from Don Lemon typically, makes more of an effort at something like balance. I know many of their commentators skewer Trump, but they usually back up the skewering with facts.
Anyone whose been paying attention figured this out some time ago. Only the Trump haters still believe the MSM without question or thought. They are unable to handle that Red Pill, i.e. their manufactured "reality" doesn't exist, and they've been living a big lie.
If the Jessie Smollett debacle didn't wake them up, then they are brain dead.
She's not the first person to be let go and to respond by appealing to the Trump base. Rewards are you get 100% adulation from the base. But that is as far as they go. The base.
Ditto Sheryl Attkisson who worked for PBS, CNN and CBS. They don't get enough airtime or coverage, so quit and badmouth the networks. Too liberal.
When you have a network profile and are difficult, or crazy (remember Kathleen Sullivan?), then leave--their reputation precedes them, and unless you are a star, or even if you are a star, nobody wants to take a chance. Same as all fields.
So Logan can head over to Fox, Breitbart, Newsmax, etc., where the news is Fair and Balanced. Or she can go to the WH. Maybe she wants Huckasanders job. Forced dishonesty.
From a person in the mainstream press, this raises an eyebrow, but she's not saying anything radical, or something we don't all know. Most of the press, electronic & print, leans left. Shrugs.
I'm pleased on a personal level to see that she's recovered from that vile sexual attack she suffered in Egypt.

When you have a network profile and are difficult, or nuts (it has happened), and then leave--their reputation precedes them, and unless they are real stars, or even if they are stars, nobody wants to take a chance. Same as all fields. Bad rep and you can't get work.
So Logan can head over to Fox, Breitbart, Newsmax, The Enquirer, etc., where the news is Fair and Balanced. Or she can go to the WH as Press Secretary - forced dishonesty.
Let's see how Logan likes it out there without the CBS brand behind her.
Because it doesn't matter how much you hate the networks or how liberal and evil you think they are, when they make a phone call and say "I'm calling from CBS News," or "I'm calling from 60 Minutes," it matters. Even if you loathe CBS, it bestows power that one does not have as an individual. Everyone has heard of CBS. Nobody has heard of Logan.
I'd be very surprised if she broke out on her own. Most of the people who have left CBS in that type of indignant mode--have never been heard from again.
Ever heard of Jane Wallace? She used to be big and was partnered with Meredith Vieira (who remained at CBS). They disappear into the ether with big chips on their shoulders.
