Sanders and his tuition free college, Kamala and her $500 monthly check proposal to families, Warren and her free universal childcare to families who make less than $50,000 and of course Medicare for All which they have no way to pay for it just a campaign statement to get liberals to go to the polls.
So far, Kamala is proposing a $500 gift a month for families and Warren is proposing universal childcare that is free for families who make less than $50,000 and no more than 7% of income for those above $50,000
They have also proposed Medicare for All but there is no viable way to pay for it, so they want people to trust them that they know what they are doing.
Free childcare is a Godsend for families that don't have non-working relatives readily available and willing, because obtaining it otherwise is so effin' expensive.
Disagree with this. 50k is a completely arbitrary income limit, and this gives people an incentive not to increase their income. Also the tax code already too heavily incentivizes child care. As a person with no children yet, I’m sick of paying for everyone else’s kids.
You notice that things you consider a "fantasy" are often realized quite workably by other countries, countries where the emphasis is on improving the lives of citizens, instead of enriching the already rich?
Nothing is ever free, maybe Democrat voters will learn that one day. I won't hold my breath though.
I typically vote Democrat and I disagree with this.
