too late for Cohen
He was good enough for Trump, for over a decade, until he lied to cover for Trump.

How quickly some people forget.

Cohen testified to an incredible amount of deceit and manipulation.

It was like watching John Dean testify to the Senate Watergate Committee.

Sorry my friend I don't see it like that, one have nothing to do with the other in my opinion. As far as impeachment, that was never something that bothers me, I prefer letting the voters on election day make their decision on that. Neither side likes to lose power, that's not even a question.

I expect if it is #3 then we will read about all 3 soon...

The $60,000 portrait which Cohen mentioned is the 3rd and wasn't documented before.
There were 2 others already known and neither had a straw bidder. Those 2 are:

2007 $20k 6ft tall speed painting by artist Michael Israel. Melania was high bidder at Mar-a-Lago auction.

2014 $10k Donald Trump was the high bidder. 4 ft painting, auctioned at Mar-a-Lago. Artist Havi Schanz

This link explains the 2007 and 2014 portraits and bidding for them.

The Republicans sure didn't see it that way. Ugh. It's amazing how they castigate Cohen for lying and Trump lies on a daily basis and they're like, meh.

Dont laugh, deep down you know this was a big nothing burger today.
Not a nothingburger at all. Cohen placed Trump in the knowledge loop of the Wikileaks email drop. He also testified about Trump’s character, admitting his part as Trump’s fixer. He also explained how the money was paid to Clifford secretly.

He also supplied documentation to support his testimony.

IMO, he inflicted damage. Frankly, he had nothing to gain by voluntarily testifying, and probably nothing to lose either, except his safety.

I think the guy was believable.

I do not think this single act of public testimony will bring downfall to Trump.

No question that Cohen would have taken a bullet for Trump at one time, and lied his ass off to protect him, and also himself. But , when it became apparent to him that he was caught, and had no alternative, he decided to stop that nonsense and do the right thing.

When he found out Trump was distancing himself from him, that had to be a wake up call too. He came across today as credible. He had the chance to throw Trump under the bus on a lot of things, like Trump supposedly hitting Melania, and he took the high road and actually said " Trump would never do that" and the story turned out to be false.

He did not embellish to make his story bigger than it is, he just responded as he remembered things and factually. His testimony has to be giving Trump indigestion tonight. That would be bad for Trump, they don't have gold plated toilets in Korea, I imagine.

The disingenuous Trump supporters around here might pretend not to care and that this is a nothingburger....

But you BETTER BELIEVE Trump and his senior aides are concerned about this....
