If the facts in this article are indeed facts, Cohen's public testimony is going to be history in the making, and more than worth the investment of time to watch. Sounds like he's going to play picador to Trump's bull.

Looks like the facts reported were accurate. From the memo sent by Elijah Cummings:

After consulting with the Department of Justice and with Rep. Adam Schiff, the Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Chairman Cummings has set the scope for the Oversight Committee’s hearing with Mr. Cohen to address the following issues:

• the President’s debts and payments relating to efforts to influence the 2016 election;
• the President’s compliance with financial disclosure requirements;
• the President’s compliance with campaign finance laws;
• the President’s compliance with tax laws;
• the President’s potential and actual conflicts of interest;
• the President’s business practices;
• the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.;
• the accuracy of the President’s public statements;
• potentially fraudulent or inappropriate practices by the Trump Foundation; and
• public efforts by the President and his attorney to intimidate Mr. Cohen or others not to testify.

There have been rumors that Cohen's incarceration date was delayed because he was still cooperating with Mueller and SDNY. This memo makes me wonder if we are going to see anything coming from SDNY Monday or Tuesday, since at least some of these are topics thay are investigating. Once Cohen testifies, the cat is out of the bag.

at the beginning of trump's campaign i predicted, on several occasions, that trump would drop out before being required to submit his financial disclosure.

it would be a nice piece of redemption to learn that i should have been right.

You don't eat an elephant in one bite. You eat him one bite at a time.

Cohen is going to certainly nibble on him a bit Wednesday. Cohen's testimony will put up directional arrows for the House investigations, among others. I believe there are currently a total of 19 investigations ongoing.

LMAO!!!! Wishful thinking. Cohen is a convicted liar and he was useless to Mueller......good luck in wasting tax payers dollars from a body that can't do $hiat to Trump.

Assuming Mueller and his team of high priced investigators with practically limitless power draw a blank after 2 years of investigation it may be time to give it break. Anything Cohen has to say will already be in the hands of Mueller.

Cohen was not tried. He voluntarily turned himself in and pleaded guilty. He has cooperated fully since then, and if anyone knows where the bodies are buried, he does. His plea deal with Mueller called for a six month sentence on one count of lying to Congress.

If he been useless, Mueller would not have ever spoken to him. Mueller believes him, SDNY believes him, and EDVA believes him, among others. Congress also believes him, judging from the fact he has three dates to appear befrore them to testify. When he starts singing on Wednesday, it will be a song that has never been heard in America.

Probably so, but SDNY is the body that is doing the investigations on these subjects. Mueller could have done it himself, but he farmed it out, since he was busy looking for evidence in the Campaign/Russia story. They will generate state charges if the evidence is there to indict. Ia they have the evidence and cannot indict Trump himself, he will be served a presentment of charges, which means they will be waiting for him as soon as he turns over the key to the Oval Office. His VP and children, however, are not subject to the same temproary protections.

If Mueller has the information and wanted to indict, he would be an idiot to allow Cohen to testify and spill the beans early. SNDY has worked closely with Meuller and Congress to decide what subjects can be covered during his appearance.

Wouldn't believe a single word Cohen says.

What does his Talmud say about truth and lies?
