And just to show the destructive nature of capitalism. The woman has sacrificed herself to live in the excesses of capitalism to prove a point. May God protect this brave poor soul from the evils of capitalism that the bad orange man has unleashed upon us all.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is right capitalism is evil and has been a moral decay for civilization-12c0fe89-2f16-4c21-8f64-51577e12f66b.jpeg

If it wasn't for capitalism we would be living in the pre-historic ages. Yes capitalism isn't perfect, no system is, but it's the best we've got.

This women would be living in her own filth if it weren't for capitalism. She is not smart enough to know this, so how could she possibly thrive in an environment where corporations aren't providing her with most everything?

AOC needs to listen to Gekko's speech - it's a great one...

Its the best system that still allows the people with immense power to keep hold of their power. But the elites are always seeking permanent oligarchy, just like during feudal times. Capitalism is a middle ground, as the people at the top knows that they will destroy the economy completely if they dont allow economic freedom for their challengers/the people.

If they follow their greedy urges to seek permanent dynastic rule, the nation would be destroyed. So the elites have to balance their quest for unlimited power with half-measured attempts at what we knows brings wealth; fighting corruption and investing in the people regardless of their class and giving people more freedom and increasing social mobility in society.

A system that does not see preserving the power and status of the elite as the top priority and purely focuses on economic efficiency and freedom would be the best system.

Despite identifying herself as a Democratic Socialist, she's actually still a capitalist. Same with Bernie, it's worth pointing out. Political definitions always change but she actually believes in social democracy, which is different from socialism. The Democratic Socialist moniker is a misnomer, but I expect that in our country it will become synonymous with social democracy.

Get over your envy. Why should she live under a bridge if she can afford an apartment?

Correct. Both Bernie and AOC call themselves socialists for whatever reason, but both promote ideas which are in line with social democracy, where the economy is based on capitalist free market idea, but where social services are funded by tax-money.

They would do themselves a big favor if they called themselves "social democrats", since that is what they are. Neither call capitalism evil, so I am not sure where the OP gets the idea. Probably Breitbart of FOX "news".

Yeah. I believe she is also now living in some high $$ apartment in DC. Instead of living with the common folk she really, really, really needs a nice place. Bet she even pays another low life to do her nails now.

She'll end up being like the Stars who rant about Climate change then fly on their private jets. Or Pulosi who says walls are immoral and lives behind a huge wall.

All a bunch of hypocrites. She will be bought and paid for before the spring is over.
