Yes, both are going to cause real problems. When other countries decide to know longer simply allow us to print money while they have to operate under different principles it's going to get ugly.

And yes, it is going to happen.

The Republicans now do not care about the central focus of their political philosophy for the past 20 years....because NOT HILLARY.

Pretty much sums it up. They have no true compass other than hating Dems.

The Democrats control the House and the budget. Both parties are responsible for both deficits. They only care about their own political careers and wealth so use our tax dollars to BUY votes.

Trade deficit doesn't mean much. The important thing is the number of people employed in America.
I've been hearing about the horrors of national debt since 1955, when I was 10 years old. It'll be a long time before it goes down; for right now the number is being used as an excuse to hammer Trump.

Then why did Trump make such a big deal over it?

For a long time the Republican's ran on lowering the debt so why shouldn't it still be used when the debt is increasing?

Because winning to these people means "owning the libs", "triggering snowflakes", "tasting SJW tears" or whatever the go to phrase is these days.

So Trump decimated and destroyed farmer's for something that doesn't mean much? Not to mention other businesses?

He sure seemed to think the trade deficit meant a lot at the time he instituted tariffs.

Now if you guys would have figured out a trade deficit wasn't a big deal BEFORE messing everything up.
