^^This. Buncha snowflakes....And Amazon absolutely should put its HQ 2.0 in West Virginia or Nebraska. Let's help bring along the red states/communities so they can be prosperous like the blue.
Edit: and for the record, it was a good comedic bit. Seriously, I still can't get over what a bunch of whiney little pansies you all are.
What makes Nebraska/West Virginia a better place for it?
Hmm, perhaps Amazon should join these Fortune 500 companies in headquartering in Omaha, NE.
They seem to be able to attract educated, skilled employees. And folks living and working there can also enjoy walking off their great steaks on the Lewis and Clark National Heritage Trail.
As usual the right doesn't seem to understand .You might want to watch your own link before you post .He was speaking up for "middle America" , something the right won't and doesn't do.
From the article I linked on Omaha’s F500 companies:
“ The companies, their executives and employees also tend to be more active in their community, contributing money and time to local charity and institutions and taking an active hand in civic affairs. That helps build the kind of quality of life that helps make it attractive to employers of all kinds and sizes.”
I would also have added to that last sentence : “... employers and employees...”
Before reading that article, I would have suggested Des Moines as well. And now I see it was also mentioned. Lol
What’s funny about that is I feel exactly the opposite. Scenery is fine for a while, but I always feel better in a city. I live in the foothills of the Cascade mountains. I moved here from the shore of Lake Superior. It’s kinda “meh” for me. If I had my choice, I’d be back in Minneapolis or in Chicago. I draw energy from the city, that’s the only way I can explain it.
For me urban areas actually drain my energy. I can recharge in a quiet pretty place. I live lived in both extremes and it is incredible the difference in how I feel. I love to visit the city and if I had the means would have a city pad but only use it to visit. I can get a lot more work done and feel more creative energy in a quiet peaceful environment. Hence why many writers go to a cottage or cabin to write a great novel and artists colonies are in lovely natural environments.
It's nice if there is something for everyone but some people seem to want everyone to live one way. We could stand to revive some areas with good jobs but the Amazon monster is not necessarily the solution.

Oooh the butthurt is strong in this one, who ironically calls others snowflakes and pansies.
I sure wouldnt want to be as racist and dumb as Bill Maher.
He seems much smarter then the average racist as he continuously says the "N" word and uses racial slurs on TV then throws up the "I'm just a comedian" card and liberals eat it up. He's definitely a role model on how to get away with racism
