I know many LGBT people, and I am gay myself. I am curious to know your political party?

Democrat. I cannot support a political party that believes I should be a second class citizen because their holy book, which should be non-binding legally according to the Constitution, says I am an abomination.

Same. Although I consider myself a leftist before anything else. The Democrats have never been liberal enough for me.

Straight but following. The gay dude I know best is.... Hardcore GOP and loves Trump. His hubby is GOP and meh on Trump. The one I know second best is a very traditional old school Dem who Facebooks a lot more about economic pay/tax type issues than any other issues and Ive never seen him post on gay issues. He is not in the closet. His profile is very clear he is gay.

Straight and not voting.

I've always sought out liberal/creative communities, and AFAIK all the LGBTQ folks I have known were liberals and therefore vote D or third party. Obviously I can't know how many I've known that were still in the closet.

Most gays are Democrats. What they don't realize is Democrats are pro-Muslim, the religion that kills gays.

Still in the closet about their sexuality or in the closet about their political party? During the 2012 election, the gay guy in the next office told me he voted for McCain and was going to vote for Romney but that he can't admit it to his friends. I said, "but your partner knows, right?," he said he partner also votes R but keeps it secret as well.

(I'm a straight Republican woman.....didn't vote in the poll.)

I can’t vote for myself because I am straight, but I will submit that one of my brothers is a Republican and so is his partner. They both voted for Trump.
