"What's all this talk about AOC? Why are you talking about her? She sure lives rent-free in your head!"
"Why do you keep talking about politics in California? Who caaares about politics in California?"

"What's with talking about celebrities who talk about politics? Why do you care about that?"
Isn't this the site for Politics and Other Controversies? Why do you come here (some of you seem to spend most of your lives on here) if you don't want to hear about political issues?
Or is accusing people of racism over and over and over again the only "political discussion" that some of you want to see?

LOL -- all the things you noted are obviously from folks you don't agree with politically.
May be a coincidence -- but shows how bias plays a roll.
You miss the point -- the people aren't complaining about the 'political' content of the same old posts...they are complaining about the repetitive, feelings expressed.
Complains are less about the political discussions and more about the lack of original content.

Kinda sad that you think most of what goes on in C-D P&oC is "discussion"
Political discussion? Nope. This is where people come to talk past each other, make ridiculous extremist claims, and unleash baseless attacks on anyone with an opposing idea all for a little feel good endorphin rush. There is a lot of troll feeding and Breitbart citations that are disguised as political discussion.

Think of it like this. You get it out of your system here and then you're too tired to fight with your spouse.
This was a better discussion site before Trump got elected. The TDS here is at times astounding. It's always been a "hard room" but these days due to the manic Trump agitprop it's mostly irrational screeching.

There have been threads on issues where some folks have stayed on the issues. The minute someone disagrees with the present administration they get told they have TDS.
And that will often be the only come back.
Economic issues, trade issues,foreign policy issues, folks will throw out facts, cite sources, etc....and overwhelmingly the come back is that 'it doesn't matter what Trump does you will criticize'........and that's the end of the discussion for many.

There is a contingent here that is off-the-rails TDS 24/7. One need not look far to see it.
