It happened mainly in states with GOP legislatures since it serves the interests of that party to suppress certain groups of voters they feel are threats to their candidates/agenda...
If voter suppression was real wouldn't voter ID help fix that?

You know and I know that the GOP wants voter ID laws made MORE stringent to suppress people from voting
You just won’t admit the purpose behind those GOP desired laws...

Trump is a fake news machine.
In other words, he's a typical salesman. Which is what he is. He has a lifetime career doing it. What did you expect?

I find it somewhat depressing that most people seem to be so shallow and unable to think critically and objectively about this president, who he is, where he came from, why he was elected, etc.

Trying to judge or evaluate him as one would judge or evaluate a career politician is an exercise doomed to a wildly inaccurate result.

Nine thousand falsehoods in just a couple of years? Sure. Whatever. The inability of WAPO to separate a salesman's exaggerations from statements of actual substance says much, much more about WAPO than the person they're criticizing. And those who cite those numbers without giving them any critical consideration are no better.

Trump thinks folks are fools. He thinks he can tell the American people anything and they will believe him. GOP on the Judiciary Committee including Rep Collins are calling on Mueller to testify. If Trump is "totally exonerated" he would encourage Mueller to testify. The problem is that Trump isn't exonerated and Mueller will further go into details about Trump's using Russian interference, Cambridge and Wikileaks to his benefit. Mueller will further confirm that Trump didn't win the election on his own merits given the small margin.

Many of Trump's "salesman's exaggerations" are flat out lies. Such as accusing a sitting president of being an illegal alien.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/...96971009859585

Donald seems to lie about issues when it comes to Puerto Rico and helping them. Why?

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...ll/1117274001/

The dispute between Trump and congressional Democrats has delayed congressional approval of a $14 billion federal disaster relief bill that remains in limbo.

Whenever I get to wondering how so many people can support this con man who is selling them out, I remember how many people supported Hitler right to the bitter end.

Seems Trump knows more about this subject than most understand.

Quote:
The Nazis were notable for making propaganda a key element of government even before Germany went to war again. One of Hitler’s first acts as chancellor was to establish the Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, demonstrating his belief that controlling information was as important as controlling the military and the economy. He appointed Joseph Goebbels as director. Through the ministry, Goebbels was able to penetrate virtually every form of German media, from newspapers, film, radio, posters, and rallies to museum exhibits and school textbooks, with Nazi propaganda.

Can't find the Infrastructure Week thread, but since they all appear to be hoaxes anyway,

You all may not be aware of this, so much going on, but last week Trump, Schumer, and Pelosi met and agreed on spending $2 trillion to fix things up. No plan, of course, but still one of the better Infrastructure Weeks to date.

The Week summarized and ranked the various Infrastructure Weeks.

https://theweek.com/articles/839005/...ticle_2-839005

George Takei summed it up best. "Who knew that Infrastructure Week meant going off the rails, paving the road to hell, and burning all your bridges?"

How'd the Hitler comparisons work out for you all in 2016?

I wonder how many people will support the lying liberal media til their end?
