Your sensational thread title makes no sense. Nothing was exposed.
Bernie has been consistent about reducing defense spending for decades.
The Iraq War cost the US $ 6 trillion when interest on the incremental debt and VA benefits are factored in. Too bad a majority of Congress disagreed with Bernie at the time and instead voted to charge in.
Palin was and remains a proponent of poking the US beak in places it does not belong.
The issue with Bernie is that most of what he envisions is DOA in Congress and he knows it. He fires up his base no diff than Trump did and continues to do.
Poor Sarah, like Hillary, continues to try to remain relevant.
We out spend everyone on the planet we have been doing that for decade after decade after decade...
We spend more than the next 6 or more biggest military spenders in the world..
Yet we still have Americans cheering for it and complaining whenever anyone suggests reducing the size of our military...
Frankly i sometime wonder if Americans are actual some of the dumbest people on the planet. My fellow citizens appear to believe spending trillions of dollars to stay 10 years ahead of our foes makes sense. there is a diminishing return on military spending. Your first 50 nukes mean vastly more than your 1000th nuke. the first few Carriers mean so much more than the 8-12th... and so on and so on.
The problem is Americans think any request for a reduction in military spending is the same as spitting on the flag....
Being cost effective doesn't mean you have to abandon all military.
Better use of funds.......that's what the goal should be.
And funny that some call for all military being pulled out of Europe -- which suggests a cut in spending on that front....but then criticize someone who talks about cutting the military budget.

Palin is probably better left at the state and city level. She's not cutout for the big time events like the presidency. McCain's team screwed up when they didn't properly vet her. The wanted a "minority" on the ticket to compete with Obama and it just blew up on them.
Bernie, I don't know about him. I think at the end of the day he's just as bad as the rest of the politicians. Say one thing for the people and do other things in their personal lives. He's too old as well, we need some younger people in office.

Affordable housing? Improving Infrastructure? Improving our educational system? Geez, what a terrible guy! Satan I tell ya! Who would want any of that?
Well you do realize that Conservatives are totally against all of that. They do love our bloated military, tax breaks for the rich, and subsidies for big oil, farmers, and pharma.
