The GOP is an even bigger cesspool. Trump himself failed to condemn the white supremacists in Charlottesville marching while chanting "Jews will not replace us". He said "There are good people on both sides."
Objecting to genocide is a good thing, and there is no reason to think there were any white supremacists in Charlottesville.
Remember when the liberals were offended by All Lives Matter because they want to focus on black radicalism in their anti-police activism?
NOw they want to say all discrimination matters when the focus is on Jews and the threat of anti-Semitism is specifically targeted toward Jews.
And by the way, I don't consider people like David Duke and SOME Of the protesters in Charlottesville to be Republican, they're outside the political spectrum. Trump's comments about fine people was referring to the many conservatives and Confederate monument supporters who were there to support the Confederate statues and were NOT in any Nazi organiation.
Jews seem to really dislike Christian conservatives when we are the strongest supporters of Israel outside the Jewish community itself and no its not because we believe Israel needs to be there for the Rapture to occur. The Rapture can already happen at anytime!!!!!!! We support Israel because the Bible tells us to, just like we are pro-life and pro-traditional marriage and oppose promiscuity and random sex ( a common lifestyle for liberal yuppies) because of the Bible.

He has also failed us on opposing violence. At a rally he praised Congressman Greg Gianforte (R-MT) for assaulting a news reporter.
Omar apologized for her "It's all about the Benjamins" comment. She needs to listen to her colleagues more and talk a little less IMO.
Trump has not apologized for his appalling initial comments regarding white supremacists and for his praise of a Congressman convicted of assault.
I hold a President to a slightly higher standard than a Congressperson. Some posters here on city data give him a free pass, but condemn other politicians freely for less serious offenses.
Yes, she needs to raise her game, but the selective outrage is obvious here.
Give it a rest already. The president misspoke! You know there were more than 2 groups at that rally! What he should have said that both those groups are bad but the others there protesting the removal of the statues were good.
Those 2 sides? Communist and socialist! Skin heads and antifa? Both started in germany where neither choice available was democracy.
This is nuts. The resolution is primarily about expressing the Democrats' hatred of white people. Objecting to anti-semitism is a secondary theme.
Only a hard-core racist could embrace this resolution.
Exactly! A black Muslim congresswoman spews anti-Semitic tropes, and the Democrats respond by condemning white supremacists. They are so afraid of offending the Muslims that they had to come up with the watered down joke of a resolution.
Can you imagine how angry blacks would have gotten if, in response to the BLM movement, Congress came up with a resolution stating how ALL lives matter, and then started listing them by group? It's a way of deligitimaizng the message behind BLM. Same thing here. It's a way of soft-peddling antisemitism when it comes from Muslims.

sad, but true
