As a society we have all but outlawed tribalism on the basis of innate characteristics or cultural background. We still tolerate tribalism in politics because theoretically you can change political beliefs (although lots of people are locked into a particular coalition for sensible reasons).
So all of the tribalism and hate in society gets funneled into politics.
This from the camp that says racism and sexism don't exist, but extermination by Liberals is a plausible concern.
I've never said racism doesn't exist. Where do you get that from?
Racism is everywhere in all directions, but the racism that has the force of law and the backing of a government with a multi-trillion-dollar annual budget is anti-white racism.
Just who are "these people who hate us and will exterminate us"? And, by "us". do you mean yourself and your family, those who vote like you do, the people of your political party or views, your city, state - or country?
And while we're at it, how about "rule"? Think someone is going to declare himself or herself the Absolute Monarch of America?
I may not vote like you do or see things as you do, but that doesn't mean that I hate you or want to exterminate you or others like you. Educate you - absolutely!
It saddens me to see such a fearful statement, especially if (as it seems to) it applies to other Americans whose political stripes are different from your own.
Who? The people who are doing it right now: The opinion-formers and the bureaucrats who have instituted policies that will eliminate the white race within a few generations. The policies are all in place already. It's just a matter of whether, by some miracle, they might be reversed.

But the reason politics is so contentious is because this is a fake country, full of people who hate each other.
Why are we even together? Because we are forced together.
You either dominate, or you are dominated. Either you're a master, or you're a slave. Everything is on the line. Freedom, security, quality-of-life, safety, happiness, and the well-being of the people you actually care about.
Never ask someone what people believe. Ask them what they want. What they want shapes what they believe.
And the people who rant about "society" don't even know what society is. Anyone who uses the word "society" wants something from you. It is an excuse for them to get what they want. They don't care about you at all. And if you died tomorrow they would be much happier.
In fact, they can't wait till you're dead. Why would they possibly care about you? You're at best a tool to get what they want, and at worst an obstacle in their way.

Why would the "ruling classes" give a flying **** about the "white race", or any other race for that matter.
They only care about themselves. You should feel lucky they let you live on their planet. And that they created a "consumption-based" economy which needs millions of workers/buyers/sellers for the "economic-growth" that allows our ruling classes to control/dominate/conquer the other ruling classes and peoples around the world.
Either you're the conqueror or you're the conquered. And it is definitely better to be the conqueror than the conquered. It is better to be with the victors than the vanquished.
Complain all you want, NOTHING is going to change. And you don't matter.
A huge part of why Trump remains so popular is this. Many people would rather support a lying, cheating ****** and would even rather risk societal collapse than give even an inch to the "enemy tribe" that is the Left.
The left nominated a lying cheating ******* in 2016 too.

In the end, what matters is are "tribes" who want to help, heal, and uplift others most in need of it, and "tribes" that seek hurt, harm, or degrade the dignity of others (especially those who do so for no other reason than because they can).

Both sides are not but a bunch of snowflakes. I dislike both ideological sides. Both sides have weaponized the word racists. If one persons say or do something out of line, their is no room for forgiveness or any sort of grievance. Such type of people want to call your employer or landlord if one says something out of line like saying something that appears racist for someone on the left, or anti Israel on the right. The center and those who are center-left, and center-right are scared to take on hardcore left and hardcore right. Also Social Media makes the current climate worse. Twitter is very disgusting, Twitter favors the left over the right. Twitter is an blow horn for conscious woke blacks who spill racists stuff about other races, a blow horn for SJWS to dox people and try to ruin livelihoods of people who have nothing to do with them, and feminists to bash men. Last twitter is a blow horn for Donald Trump as well in which his followers and detractors troll him like if he is a god or a devil. MSM media is making the environment worse. CNN is horrible, and so is MSNBC with Rachel Maddow always accusing Russia. Fox News and Tucker Carlson makes me cringe at times.
In the end, what matters is are "tribes" who want to help, heal, and uplift others most in need of it,
