NBC is describing a crisis at the border and President Trump can use this in court.

Asylum should be applied for in the nearest ambassy and not traveling to the country of choice. That seeking a better life as every legal immigrant is doing, which requires entering through the front door.

Asylum means that you are in fear and need help ASAP and not traveling thousands of miles like there is no fear. Fear means you want immediate help and not when the country of choice is reached

The kids and mom are sick, which is sad but that means the US tax payers are going to be the ones paying for two kids and a mom and soon a new born baby! That’s just one family!

The crisis at the border is unaffordable for US tax payers.

If they are asylum shopping for the best deal they aren't in, and never were in, danger of any kind.

How would a wall solve this problem? The people in the story aren't trying to sneak over the border.

Today they seek asylum. That law needs to change as in you can ask for asylum BUT now that you have made it out of your dangerous country you need to wait in Mexico as we look at your case.

We need a wall because what happens when thousands are denied the asylum and the next step is to sneak in ?

If we show up to a concert without a ticket they will send us away but you still want to see the concert so the next step is to try and sneak in the back door. The thing is if you sneak into the concert you will be thrown out, maybe arrested but if you sneak into America you are welcomed and given sanctuary in some places.

What is going to happen when millions of people have had enough of Venezuela and they decide to leave to come to America? Imagine 100,000 people showing up at the border with nothing to lose.

If people can leave Venezuela than you can bet that there will be some criminals, trying to make money on the people leaving and who don’t seem to have to loose much. They all rather be else where and the US is the promised land for many.

If criminals can overwhelm the border, than it will be easier to sneak in as it takes more men/women of law, to keep them out.

I thought if it was on NBC, then it had to be "fake news."

Many of them have gotten impatient and have snuck over our border illegally. The point of the wall is to stop those intruders. There are 30,000 a month sneaking in that way and that includes those who are criminals and those from known terrorist countries.

Even if there will be 10 criminals amongst each group, that will cause a tremendous risk for citizens. Many criminals will join other criminal groups and start acting fast to organize with crime groups in their native country.

When we came her and applied for a visa, as well as on every renewal, green card application, etc. we have gone through background checks, had to leave the country to be in compliance and enter again, pay the fees.

These thousands, want to skip all that and get a green card handed.

Most legal aliens are against backdoor tactics while we did everything the right way.
