Does anyone actually pay any attention any more to the worthless blather that issues from Donald Trump's brain, instantly and heedlessly sent to his mouth? These comments about McCain are just obvious blundering efforts to keep the focus on anything other than the ongoing investigations that are his real worry.

Pretty hard to underestimate the guy, he sets an exceedingly low bar.

Funny the opening thread mentions nothing about either. It’s something the right beings up when thier dear leader does something stupid. Again.

Get over McCain. He's dead & buried and should have acted more responsibly when alive.
BTW, you've always been wrong, so I've marked your post about the "investigations" that are about to implicate Hillary et Obama.
Cheers!

"Pussyfoot" is okay if you write it as one word. President Donald J. (the J. is for Jumbo) Pussyfoot.

He was extremely overestimated already by his beloved supporters. He can't do and fix everything like many thought he could, and he couldn't keep all his promises made.

You have missed the point. I can't opine as to that being willful or not, but you have indeed missed the point.

John McCain's stature and legacy is not about liberals vs conservatives or Democrat vs Republican ideas.

Liberals and conservatives alike, value and honor his lifetime of public service because of how he performed it. That would be with dignity, courage, integrity, and truthfulness. Why don't Trumpers value that? Why have you allowed your leader to convince you that these are traits to demean and diminish?

In no playbook other than Trumpism do I see that being encouraged.

But hey, if you choose to follow a vile, malicious, petty little man who is a disgrace and an embarrassment to our country, carry on. I can tell you with certainty, though, whose legacy will be revered and honored and it won't be Trump's.

Unfortunately for Americans, we will never live down the shame of having placed Trump into the leadership of this country.

i am not ashamed for helping elect Trump - at least he is taking on the inside the beltway elite and their power.

next no question McCain was a war hero - but not a political hero of the party he supposed to represent - he turned on us because he got all bent out of shape over a few words -

i for one will never forgive him for allowing obama care to stay - he did not support his party or his president - to me he is just another RINO

You are really off the rails.

First and foremost, the senator was not qualified to assess the veracity of this thing he was asked to look at (for his opinion) and he turned it over to the FBI, exactly what he was supposed to do. Every citizen has this same responsibility. Not to hide such information based upon their own judgment but to turn it over to our national security people who can review it and protect us. It is said sunlight is the best disinfectant. For the FBI's part, this document was a secondary source for many things they were already checking on, so it acted as a verification. The dossier did not trigger investigations, they were already ongoing.

McCain did not originate the document, and he did not keep it. There was nothing pre-meditated about it, it came as a surprise to him (and I am sure it must have been a shock). He did the honest and patriotic thing and turned it in. The same thing you or I are expected to do in similar circumstances.

The 'coup' is in your head, not in the real world.
