A new book, Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump, alleges the caddies at Winged Foot, the only non-Trump property where Trump is a member, got so used to seeing Trump kick his ball back into the fairway they gave him a new nickname: Pele!

Twitter storm coming soon!
First 2 thoughts that I had:
1) How would this change anyones opinion of Trump?
2) What idiot would actually spend money on this book and even worse....how dismal must their life be if they actually have the time and energy to spend it reading the book unless it was a job requirement?

Wouldn't change mine, I've thought Trump lacks integrity for 40+ years now.

Well, in their defense, those idiots would be spending a bunch less $$$ than the idiots who enrolled in Trump U.
Anyone who has ever golfed knows that guy who habitually improves their lie and never records their real score. When they are in the clubhouse talking up their recent triumph of being under 80, everyone says gratz to their face and then behind their back whispers "yeah, 79 plus 26 maybe...lol." Nobody much minds such folks, unless they start talking smack to others...which rarely ever happens. They know they aren't that good, and smack talk gets people challenged, and people who fudge scores know their actual talent level.
It's so common you could call it ubiquitous. Just part of playing golf.
Anyone who has ever golfed also knows it from the other side, where guys playing to a 5 index come in as ringers in 4 man outings, claiming they are like 27's just to load a team so they can win $100 in a friendly tournament. Everyone knows they are ringing, and everyone agrees it's weaksauce, but you play anyway, secretly hoping your actual team of schleps will luck their way to a win over those lying jacktards. Almost never happens, but it's fun to try.

Recreational golf isn't the PGA, boys and girls.
But cheating's still cheating and lying's still lying. I've played with the guy who takes 8 strokes and writes down 5, what absolutely puzzles me is how you can lie to yourself and believe it?
You can make up all the 'everybody does it' excuses you want. I used to play with an after work company group and the same guys who cheated at golf were the same guys likely to be the office back-stabbers.

Nah, being a pathetically needy man who needs to cheat to feel superior to others isn't grounds for impeachment, just grounds to take nothing he says as the truth until proven. The boy who continually cries Fake News! is one of the most prolific sources of Fake News! there is.
