Which crime do you think is worse? Lying and bribes to get a slot in college or a made up hoax that might stir up race wars?

No one gets hurt scheming to get their kids into college.
The racist hoax has serious repercussions.

Kids who actually deserve to get into college, but don't, get hurt by the liars/bribers. And that happens a lot.

The racist hoax was just so ridiculous that it took about 2 minutes to figure out it was all a lie. No one got hurt.

Neither one are crimes. If there is no victim there is no crime.

Tell that to the kid who worked hard, studied hard, played by the rules and earned the spot that was given away to some privileged kid who got in solely because his parents bought his spot. Then tell me how no one gets hurt.

This is a stupid poll. It's like asking which is better, an apple or an orange?

Both choices in this poll are bad in different ways.

Depends on the race of the perpetrator!
If non white, both would be acceptable because, slavery.

Lying and Bribing to get into college or a staging a fake hate crime? I'm sure in a Lefty world Trump is somehow to blame for both...

The lying and bribing is wrong but the only ones hurt are the kids that don't deserve to be there and the kids that are denied because despite their actual stats their parents were not rich enough to get them in. Talk about this scandal being like something we hear about from a third world country or Russia.

Staging a fake hate crime that hits the trifecta of outrage, a Black, Gay guy beat up by racist Trump supporters and throw in a noose for good measure is far worse and had national impact.

Why can't people just play by the rules? We have enough problems without people faking outrage.

To even ask the question shows a gross misunderstanding.
