Damn you, California! You keep disgracing yourself by being innovative, rich and prosperous!!! Why can't you be more like the red states and just die a slow death?!!! I bet you don't even care about all the great many new coal jobs created by Trump do you?? Why don't you take your sunshine, beaches, ocean, arts, culture, high-paying jobs and shove it! The red states will proudly go mine in harsh weather like real Americans... or Russians!!
Employers in the state added 14,600 nonfarm payroll jobs last month, the California Employment Development Department reported Friday. Earlier this month, the U.S. government reported nonfarm payrolls in the U.S. rose by just 20,000 jobs in February, or the weakest national showing since September 2017.
"Whatever caused the nation as a whole to have a subpar job gain didn't have as much influence in California in February," said Aubrey Henry, a spokesman for the state's EDD agency.
Why cherry pick one month that just happens to show your argument? California is the largest state with the largest economy in the country so of course it is going to outperform other states during different times.
California is strong in the tech sector, military as well as food production and those industries are doing well in February but that doesn't mean it will always be the case. There will be months where California will perform poorly relative to the rest of the country but then, I doubt the OP will be creating threads at those times.
Yep, going to just run off and move to California to live like a Pauper when I can actually survive on my middle class income in AZ or Texas!
Forget Austin. The price of living there has shot through the roof. Too many people want to live there.
