Good thing they did not do too well in the EU elections, or they would feel even more empowered.

In recent days, German Jews were warned by a leading government official not to wear kippahs in public, following a rise in anti-Semitic attacks.

"There is to this day not a single Synagogue not a single daycare center for Jewish children, not a single school for Jewish children that does not need to be guarded by German policemen,"

That the forecasted far-right surge in last week's European elections didn't happen was largely attributed to increased support for pro-European Union green and liberal parties and an increased turnout across the bloc.

In Germany, the green party finished second to Merkel's Christian Democratic Union.

It's like we have forgotten where all this ended the last time. As horrific as WWII was for millions of people, the alternative would have been far worse if Stalin and Hitler had been able to divide up the world.

In WWII the US was ready, willing and able to fight fascism overseas because we were able to see where it was heading. Today, with a fascist-friendly Administration and a brainwashed population that will swallow populist propaganda without skipping a beat, it's a whole new ball game. Have a strong suspicion that we would simply stand by and watch if it happened again.

Radical Muslims in Europe who openly hate and threaten Jews are also "right-wing", just like in the US. Stop trying to link radical Muslims in Europe to right leaning conservatives in the US, it's pathetic.

They are not talking about Muslims. I am sure you hope they were, but they're not.

Oh, we know they will ignore the Muslims, no matter how much damage they cause.

Your linked article did not even say much. Some gov official said something, Merkel disagrees with things, that is about it. A gov official opposed to a policy and making idiotic claims? Surprised, lol.

The recent immigrants in Germany should run to the airports, not walk. I think something worse than Hitler is coming.
