Again the right doesn’t care that their kids, grandchildren will be paying for it, same goes for the left too yet Trump keeps our debt climbing at a rate that’s faster then usual.

outlays are outpacing the receipts (payroll taxes, which were NOT changed)
for example
SS has been paying out more than its intake since 2007..and every year the gap is getting worse
FY17(last budget under Obama) SS outlays was 939 billion, yet receipts was only 851 billion... a difference of 88 billion...that's 88 billion in the hole (deficit)
projected is for fy22..1.2 trillion in outlays, yet 1.049t receipts
projected is for fy27..1.652 trillion in outlays, yet 1.361t receipts, so for FY27, nearly 300 (291) billion deficit just for the line item of SS
This is what happens when you spend and don't pay for it. I'll never understand how Conservatives tricked themselves into thinking NOT paying for things was a way out of debt.
I'll never understand how EddieB.Good thinks people believe his made up garbage about conservatives. But when all the big government policies he supports are failures, the thing to do is make a troll post about conservatives. How about you look for the truth? Granted you wont find it in a big government president like Trump or Obama or Bush or ....
Because the GOP is supposed to be the party of small government, yet they are even bigger spenders than the Democrats. At least Democrats make no bones about their desire to grow government and create a welfare state; Republicans talk a good game but in reality are just as bad.
And MAGAs are the worst of both worlds.
Which has nothing to do with a increase in government spending.
Obama left so much to fix it was bound to cost a ton of money to straighten it out.
And of course the excuse his team used was Obama had to spend to straighten out Bush's mess. When does either party take responsibility?
