I have been growing a full beard all Winter long. My wife suggested it. I think she was trying to turn me into a gnome since she took a liking to them this year when little stuffed ones showed up in shops this past year and several followed her home.
Anyways the beard is coming off today. It is funny how much water it holds from the shower and yes I'm sure there are bits of crumbs in there someplace, that must be why my dog likes me so much?? He smells lunch leftovers?
Beards are fun though.
If you hear growling when you get the scissors close you have a problem. And I don't mean the dog.
I for one have never been a fan of the recent trend towards men having beards. Maybe it's because I can't grow a decent beard or maybe it's just my military background, but I think facial hair is nasty. Moustaches and beards get slop in them all the time and this study proves it.
Kiss and hug a man with a beard after he eats chicken vs kissing and hugging a dog after it eats it's own fecal matter and has been humped by another dog. Is that in the study?
Yes facial hair is nasty. I don't think many woman enjoy kissing a brillo pad.
Another anti-science liberal wants to silence discussion about information she doesn't like.
Did you actually read this study. And read studies about the bacteria found in human beards and skin. And then maybe some info on how zoonotic diseases are transmitted. The study sited in the article had no scientific merit.
