They need to be vicious. They need to go to the extreme if that's what it takes and I think it will.

If they don't get the tax returns soon enough then when we have a Democrat in the White House they really need to get revenge then. They're asking for only six years of Trump's tax returns and Trump's lackies in the treasury department are refusing to follow the law and the lackies at Trump's department of justice, headed by Trump's defense attorney are refusing to enforce the law. The problem with that is when we have a Democratic president he'll put his own people in. And they won't be people who only care about protecting Trump. They'll be people who when the House says hey we want 12 years of Donald Trump's tax returns and also 12 years of Steve Mnuchin's tax returns they'll say sure here you go. And when the Democratic president tells his attorney general that he wants him to investigate Barr for obstruction of justice they'll do it. The Democrats may need to do that. Just because Trump's time in the White House is over and we still don't have his taxes that doesn't mean he won. That means he doesn't have all that power anymore and the Democrats need to go after him full force. If they ever "look forward, not backwards" then we are screwed. That would solidify that Republican presidents are above the law.

And don't try and tell me "but then the Republicans would..." that's a bull**** argument. They're going to be doing that **** anyway.

For the most part they are all on the same team. You always go at partial speed during scrimmages.

This.

American politics is like the WWE. The politicians pretend to fight each other, but really they’re all working for their corporate masters. And they know that their fans are all a bunch of suckers.

Nobody cares about his personal taxes. Not anyone with a meaningful life, anyway.
