I don't see what being American has to do with being Muslim. There is no law that says Americans can't be Muslims. I find it rather un-American to try and tell others what to believe. Telling people they are not real Americans if they are Muslims is simply intolerant.

Having said that, I hope as few people as possible will ever convert to Islam outside the already Muslim world. Why are certain Muslims trying to spread such a gloomy ideology that has already destroyed many once great countries such as Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan? Those places were more sophisticated thousands of years ago than they are today...

To the contrary, I hope humans including Muslims will increasingly dump their religions, especially the three bogus ones from the Middle East.

Home school. Private school. Online free academies. Lots of ways to avoid the abomination that is public education, and provide your kids with invaluable lessons they would otherwise not be learning.

Easiest way to stop government is to avoid them and deny them your participation.
Think of what could be done in a free market with all the tax dollars that currently wasted on/in govt daycare centers

Very true. This little tempest is no different from Bible-thumpers wanting prayer in school.
