In a normal world, filled with common sense, that would be the case. Common sense isn't so common anymore.

The progressives here are fine examples of the problem. They want to exchange wisdom and experience for youth and optics. They can't even agree which candidates are progressive enough. Basically, they want to be as radical as possible which is chaotic at best.

They will go the way of the Whigs

The party fell apart because of internal tension over the expansion of slavery to the territories. With deep fissures in the party on this question, the anti-slavery faction prevented the nomination for a full term of its own incumbent President Fillmore in the 1852 presidential election—instead, the party nominated General Scott. Most Whig Party leaders eventually quit politics (as Abraham Lincoln did temporarily) or changed parties.

That about sums up what's happening to the Dem's now. They are tearing themselves apart and turning off 70% of the country in the process. They are so myopic that they can't even see it. Ignorance isn't always bliss.

Just watching some of her recent ramblings, it's getting pretty bad. I acknowledge the same can often be said of trump, but this thread is about her. Anyone who thinks she is firing on all cylinders cannot see reality. There is certainly a roo loose in the top paddock.

Where'd you get that 70% figure? Because the 2018 midterms don't mesh with that at all

Have you not noticed the power swinging back and forth for the last few decades? That is because people simply don't believe in the BS anymore. They keep hoping for change, change that never happens. What amazes me is how many hardliners are so willing to excuse their own party.

Pelosi is playing with Trump like a cat with a mouse (or maybe a rat).

That's why Trump got elected. He is an outsider who crashed their exclusive corrupt club which is why RINOs and Demwits have been trying to destroy him. They have to make an example of him to scare future outsiders from trying the same.

Pelosi isn't going anywhere. She's playing President Tweets-a-lot stable genius like a fiddle.

No doubt a young Nancy wannabe. As much as Nancy's politics are abhorrent, she was, in her younger days, much more coherent and well spoken(even if it was majority of lies she was speaking) than AOC.

That is correct. AOC That will give them someone with a service life of another 50 or so years while also fitting the billet Pelosi currently fits.
