Gillette’s advertising is wrong. The gender of the person shaving their face, underarms, and or legs is irrelevant. I’ve heard the only difference between their razors for men and women is one is blue and the other is pink. If this is true then why is the pink ones a higher price? Ow if the razors for the face are designed differently than for other body parts then make it a point that they are sharp and strong enough to tackle the thickest man’s beard not because it’s sexist, but because in general those born men have thicker and heavier beards. They could also use a very thickly hairy man to show how well it shaved his legs. They could use an athlete who must maintain a clean shave due to the sport and tape. If their goal is to sell a product to a particular gender than market to male or female. Let the customer/viewer decide which gender they feel and buy the product that appeals to them.
True. I read somewhere that the trans population is 1/3 of 1%. What business runs an ad targeting the needs of 1 out of 300 people, while likely turning off at least 10% of their potential customers? This PC stuff has gone too far.
Gillette a best a trans can get? Their advertising department first went after men in their toxic masculinity ad. Now they are transitioning to......trans shaving.
What sucks is that I tried to put my money where my mouth is when it came to never buying Gillete again after their last SNAFU....
...I went like 3 months or so using other brands, famous ones like Shick, Bic, Barbasol, etc... and they were all crap compared to Gilettes.
I have managed to:
Drop Facebook.
Never start ANY other social media.
Own ANY Apple product.
Never buy a Starbucks product for myself (for dates, yes, a man's gotta do...)
Not have any Cable service since 2012.

Try switching to double edge safety razors. Wife finds my face is as smooth or smoother than when I used the Fusion. It does take a little more time to learn the correct angle and pressure and it takes a little longer to shave. I’ve found a local store that sells a ten pack of blades for $2.05 for ten blades. The razor needs occasional cleaning.

It's not about the 1/3 of 1%. It is about appealing to the White Liberal/Progressives that want to feel more evolved, and enlightened to buy a product from a company that sympathizes with that 1/3 of 1%. That is what all Virtue Signaling from the corporate world is all about.
It's social engineering and promoting the SJW agenda. I would imagine someone at Proctor and Gamble is going to fire the SJW over the advertising department at Gillette. They are going to lose a huge market share over this recent nonsense. I know multiple people who are basically moderates who have said they will never buy Gillette products ever again.
And 98% of the people who read this won't understand that they are being programmed to accept transgender as "normal."
If something is thrown in your face often enough, you begin to believe it's normal.

I have to think that the vast majority will never see this ad. I hadn't before it was posted here .
