When I think those in my party can't get any more vile on their treatment of others - you again prove me wrong. So much for the actual being accepting of those even if their beliefs differ from your own.

Oh, they knew full well she lied. But Trump's base, as far as I can tell, does not put any value on facts, much less truth. They know she lied, but she only lied to the press, and they're conditioned to hate the press. As far as they emote, she left people they dislike unhappy, and as a Trump follower famously put it, the job of this administration is to hurt the right people.

Well, it's not like she has a record of success in the private sector to go along with her useless political science degree. So any job daddy Huckabee can get her via his connections will definitely help.
