President Donald Trump could not attend a commemoration in France for U.S. soldiers and marines killed during World War One on Saturday because rain made it impossible to arrange transport, the White House said.
The last minute cancellation prompted widespread criticism on social media and from some officials in Britain and the United States that Trump had “dishonored” U.S. servicemen.
Were you more entertained by the years of black man bad threads that went up daily when Obama was president?
Here's a thought: you are visiting a forum that discusses "Politics and Other Controversies" in case you didn't notice. Whoever is president sits atop the pile of politicians being discussed. The people who don't like that president will post a lot of threads everyday saying something negative. This happened to GWB, Obama, and now Trump. Whoever wins in 2020 will have negative posts going up regularly by the other side. Supporters will put up posts talking about how great they think the current president is.
Do you still feel the need to respond and complain that posts like this have happened and will continue happening all the time on this forum regardless of who is president?
Is there anything more laughably ironic than one preening moral hypocrite pontificating about hypocrisy surrounding an event which at its core graphically represents the failures of hypocrites?
Yeah, Trump is a jackass. Roger that, totally agree. But so is every politician/leader/pontificator in any country ever who makes solemn, yet utterly hollow and vacuous speeches about "heroism" in a single battle of a war that was engineered by idiots just like them that caused the needless deaths of tens of millions all over the world.
And let us not forget that while the US was instrumental in virtually guaranteeing the rise of Hitler and his Nazis, under the meddlesome watch of one Woodrow Wilson, FDR chose to sit out the European conflict until it became politically required...MORE THAN 3 YEARS LATER.
The "D" in D-Day stands for "dumb and needless waste of life because politicians are retarded." Trump is just this week's example of it, but both America and the EU are packed full of such idiots and have been since the day that nonsense took place.
There's no delusion involved, but yes, it's reasonable to become very wound up with the disaster of having such a mean, ignorant, vulgar, lying, bigoted, greedy, self-aggrandizing bully in the White House.
OKay, let's focus on obsession. It is neither reasonable nor is it normal to be so completely obsessed for years. It's called a fixation. Psychological fixation is a pleasure-seeking focus on a person, thing, idea. People here have become so obsessed that they need to be fixated on Trump at all times. If a person does something, in the same way, three times in a row it is more likely to become a habit. They need that hate or defense fix. In this case, most obsessives in here are haters.
This is why the same lineup (we all know who the tribe is) of people in here post 90% of the time about Trump. Any topic is quickly routed right back to Trump even if the topic has nothing to do with him - not even remotely related to him.
It's not close to being reasonable. It is a pathological illness. The more they post the more obvious it becomes.
