Now you've got dipsticks like Kamal Harris equating ICE with the Klan these days. The radical base doesn't want to hear anything "reasonable" sounding in my opinion on these types of subjects.

I don't like trump personally and I didn't vote for him, but if the dems put up one of these far left loons I'll have to vote for trump just as a message that we need to align more center, more middle class working man family oriented concerns need be addressed. I couldn't give a rip less about which bathroom a Trans wants to use and he/she pronouns and stuff like that.

The dems are behind too many boutique non-issues in my opinion. We need to get back to the basics.
Or the fake, right-wing media you listen to is telling you that "the dems" are behind these issues, but in reality, people like AOC and Kamal Harris have very little support from the Democratic Base.

You guys get so upset about people believing the left-wing media (I do too), and look what you do.

Advice to everyone: Think about stuff. Look into it. And most importantly, realize that people have different opinions than you, and while you may disagree, it does not make them wrong. They have their reasons, just like you (and I) do.

I listen to a variety of sources, I'm not a right winger in the slightest. I have ears and eyes and these people are saying what they are saying.

Look at all of the Democratic runners right now in the race.

They are far leftist. If the base isn't supporting them you wouldn't have so many that are racing to the left. I hope that they are just really out of touch with the mainstream democrats average joe. I just don't understand why they are all so far left if they don't somehow perceive that that is the direction of the party? I ask this without an attitude, it's not lining up with common sense. If the average joe democrat isn't down with this, then why are the all going that way????

I personally think that the average joe isn't down with all of these far leftist postions but who knows, I'm just looking at all of this anecdotally speaking.

I'm an independent voter who leans slightly conservative. I think of all the mess the Democrats have going, John Hickenlooper may be the best of the bunch. He has a record of finding realistic solutions. He's solid on the abortion issue, and reduced abortions by offering effective birth control to all women in his state. The sensible way to eliminate abortions is to make sure that all women who are pregnant want to be. It protects everyone's rights.

I want a president who can put together a competent staff. I want a president who can see that both sides on an issue may be right. I don't see Sanders or Warren filling those shoes. We don't need a left wing lunatic, we need a Jefferson Democrat.

I don't think there's a chance in hell the Republicans will come to their senses and dump Trump, so a conservative Democrat is our only hope.

I want the Democrats of yesteryear. The ones that put Americans first, didn't care about illegal alien rights, put the working man first. Were pro-choice but with limits.

I'd vote for a conservative Democrat. The problem is is that there ain't any really. Wasn't it Hickenlooper that got that 5 minute boo session because he was against Socialism?

Abandoning him how? They were never for him. The media wants Trump to win and they will work hard to get him reelected. They wanted him to win in 2016 and they want him to win in 2020
