And? The two have nothing to do with each other. This could have been a top tier school and you would still complain.
Single parent homes that are dysfunction are a problem. Changing a school's name is not a problem to me automatically. In this particular case, this isn't a problem. You bring up something that has nothing to do with the subject because you didn't like what I had to say.
How about teaching the children and parents about accountability and respect? Tell them to get the academic performance up to the standards of the state average and the we will discuss allowing them to choose the name for the schools. Because the people who built and paid for this school were a lot smarter and harder working and they named this school.
Too much reality for those parents you think?

Stupid. Dude even George Washington and Lincoln owned or had access to slaves at the time. This is dumb....
My family is extremely diverse and we have records of both owners and slaves of those times...........I mean next we are going to tear down statues but promote genocide of Arabics Can we all somehow fight this? I mean time passes and all we focus on is slave ownership? THAT IS STUPID??? He wanted to own a plantation from when he was a kid. That is like me wanting to be an animator because I watched cartoons all day long. He eventually wanted to enter into politics and saw that dream as a fault.
Out of all the current and former POTUS, Lincoln is the one that I have heard/seen the fewest/least amount "Lincoln is evil" or "I hate Lincoln because"-type statements about. If we go buy what you said, we might as well remove the names of all POTUS from 150+ years ago that buildings were named after.
