Bolton has been right all along regarding Iran. People just don't want to hear it because what he says is the truth, and the truth is often uncomfortable.
The Truth? Remember the lies about WMD's?

Bolton was the architect of the Iraq War and the chief proponent that Iraq had WMD's. He was totally wrong and discredited. Either he is a complete idiot or a liar. Only reason he is in the Trump administration is because Trump liked watching him on Fox News. Bolton does not want diplomacy only war.

His statement sums it up:

“America’s declared policy should be ending Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution before its 40th anniversary.”

The reason that there was a Islamic Revolution in 1979 was because of regime change pushed by the US government putting the Shah in power. Yet Bolton wants to repeat a failed history of regime change and preemptive war.

You link to the Neocon handbook (National Review) and of course what would you expect a bunch of war mongers would say. The national review in the era of Buckley actually had intellectual arguments but now its just a rubber stamp for the war machine.

Yes, for more than 150 years.

Good point.

The only "international airspace" that exists is over international waters.

The claim that the attack was "unprovoked" is hilarious. That aircraft was spying on Iran.
I dont know who said unprovoked, but I will say irrelevant. International airspace, that is relevant. World powers fly international airspace everyday, using aircraft to listen to and watch their adversaries. Russia does it to us, we do it to them. China does it to all their neighbors including the PI and Vietnam. No body shoots down other peoples aircraft in international airspace.. Sometimes they swap paint. Sometimes if the aircraft strays into someones territory it is shot down. That is fair game.
What isn't ok is saying that spying provoked them to violate international law.. Only Israel behaves in such a way. and it isn't right when they do it either.

Totally lacking in any of these incidents is verification by another country.

You are assuming that the US version is correct.

Another "Gulf of Tonkin".

Two tankers in SA - didn't work.
Japanese tanker - again didn't work.
This UAV - looks like will not work either.

Bolton tries really hard to start a war, but old man doesn't have good imagination, so attempts so far are futile. I guess next step would be just "let's start a war just because we desperately need it". In a world of 1984 there is no more any shame.

Who do you believe? The United States government or the Iranians?

Who has a reason to lie here?? After Iraq, you still find our government to be credible with such claims?

Their complete and total derangement has to be seen to be believed.
So you believe the United States government AFTER what happened in Iraq?

I would have to question if this drone was indeed in international travel space. Sounds like Trump is manufacturing another crisis to distract from his other problems.

Yes apparently the Trumpers are lock step on this. Same voters who were behind Trump when he chastised Bush for the Iraq war. Now Trump has the Iraq war architect as his right hand man and now war is good as long as Trump says so.
