I can't wait to become a full-time student even though I'm retired. It isn't legal to discriminate on the basis of age so I am ready to spend the rest of my life in classes.

The thing that really scares me if how would this tax on Wall Street affect stock prices. Almost every pension and retirement account is funded via stocks and bonds. Would this tax send U.S. stock prices in decline?

Sanders is no Democrat.

Sanders is 1 step away from being a Communist.

What's surprising is intelligent Democrats might actually support any of his Communist ideas.

First off, people should be responsible for any debts they incur. If you choose to go to an expensive college and get a BS degree (and I don't mean Bachelor of Science) then it is on you. Secondly, why the hell does college cost so much? With the availability of on-line classes one would think higher education would drop significantly in price! Thirdly, WE are the government. Why should I pay for someone else to go to college? I paid my own way by working while I was in school. If I can do it, so can others.

This just makes the problem worse. Lower loan interest rates for students and set a relatively low cap on the total amount that can be borrowed. If students cant borrow more money the schools can’t keep raising tuition.

How about you socialists go after the predatory lenders that gave out these ridiculous loans to students in the first place? Also why do I have to pay back a student loan Too students that majored and worthless degrees like art history and feminist women's studies that don't amount to anything productive in society?

government wouldn't pay off student loan debts. bernie is proposing federal taxpayers pay off students' loan debts.

Bernie proposes workers' incomes be confiscated to pay other people's debts. He is trying to buy votes by promising to take earnings from people and give their earnings to his voters.

Bernie is a greedy and immoral man.
