So you're OK with religious people turning away anyone with a pride flag/sticker?
What if the tables were turned?
What if the business had a confederate flag and a black person walked in and was refused service?
I think you missed my point entirely. The Confederate Flag, a flag that was used by a wannabe nation to rebel against the US so it could keep black people in chattel, is NOT the same thing as a Pride Flag, Coexist sticker, or Obama/Biden sticker.
It would be the equivalent of saying the Nazi symbol and the symbol of the German Democratic Socialist Party are the same thing. One is a political party that leans slightly right and the other is a symbol of party that committed genocide.

They all represent belief systems. Whether you agree with them or not is opinion.

First of all it's the Confederate battle flag, not the Confederate flag. It does represent treason and slavery. Not heritage. It was particularly brought back in to vogue specifically to protest the Civil Rights movement and still lingers from that era.
Pride flag isn't about hate or exclusion of anyone.

Well, yes, if someone does not celebrate the pride flag, they get lots of hate. From those waving the flag.
And all who see the flag? Know that.
Also? I'd bet if you asked those who own a confederate flag today why they have the flag they would say state's right/freedoms NOT slavery.
You don't see any difference between a Pride flag and a Confederate flag? Really?
What about the Confederate flag and the American flag?
People are now becoming offended by the American flag and equating it with the KKK.
The day may come when people will say everyone should know how offensive the American flag is to minorities and immigrants. It is a representation of slavery, discrimination and oppression and those who display it will be labeled insensitive and racist. Their perception of the American flag as a symbol of our identity and national pride and an honor to all those who gave their lives defending freedom will be rebuked.
Examples please? Of someone simply not celebrating the pride flag getting hate.
Sure, they may say that. But that is at the very best ignorance.
Examples? Read any thread on CD where a poster does not wholeheartedly endorse LGBT pride. The posters are showered with insults and hate. Called many names. Told they should die.
According to you. It's a truthful statement, and if you understood history you would know that.
Only a fringe element would ever support slavery. In my lifetime i have never met anyone who did or even saw a post on CD -- where crazies live to post -- where someone was posting that the US needed to embrace slavery.
If it was a little decal or a license plate and the guy was the best and had a fair price for the work I might have just overlooked it or if really sensitive about it just told him that the flag was offensive and the truck could not be parked at the house. But driving around with a huge flag is inflammatory and over the top if you are looking for work.
Private citizens can do whatever they want. God bless America for giving us that freedom.
