A landlord advertises a rental for $1000/month & a POC SEES that advertisement, shows up and all of a sudden the rent is $1500/month?

Happens to everyone. No matter the color of your skin. Don't finance through the dealership. Know your credit rating/score. Do your homework.
There are other examples. It happens, but I would guess that it isn't only white landlords doing it.

I think in history there are examples of greedy landlords doing it or pricing it higher for blacks.

I believe this is the first time I have had of this sexy lady. Bravo for her calling out such a despicable practice. While I am merely assuming, her pointing out a racist practice might inspire some people to buy her music. In other words, it might contribute to a small spike in music sales for her and her record company if she is contracted with one.
I have some on-line comments where one person where say this race-based pricing discrepancy is legal and another person says it is not. I don't know if it is illegal or not because there are so many loop holes with many laws. What I do know is that this practice is abhorrent.
That may be, but she could probably get more by preaching about the opposite.
Anyway, THANK you, Tiny Jag. I wish our country didn't have the horrible history it has of how blacks and others were treated, but thank you for recognizing that I had nothing to do with it, and never would, so I shouldn't be punished for the color of skin I was born with.

She has an extremely foul mouth that any grandmother would be ashamed of and has violent tendencies given the physical threats she's made towards people. I don't blame the organizers at all if they were to file a restraining order against her.

^^^^^This. The entire Rap, and Hip Hop Community is FOUL. That is a defining factor, or you wouldn't be part of it. At least she had the guts to take a stand. I am sure it didn't help her standing in that racist industry.
