After intolerant reporter Zack Ford saw his old friend wearing the MAGA hat, he said that he wouldn't unfriend her if she apologized for wearing it, and promised he'd never have to see it in his feed again. She objected to his "policing" of her views, so he cut her off.
He then proceeded to brag about it in his newsletter. Meanwhile, he's getting trounced on Twitter.
The extremist absurdity of the left wing loons has really gotten out of hand. It's almost exclusively from millennials, too.
I've lived in a liberal city with ultra-liberal neighbors for 20 years and we've all managed to get along fine. People need to be actually tolerant of differing opinions. Unfortunately that is a skill that young liberals simply don't have. The older ones are fine.

My best friend is a Trump supporter. We can have respectful discussions so I have no issues with him. The real tension in our relationship comes from the fact he doesn't fully accept my sexuality and believes its a choice. However, he tolerates it since I'm pretty straight-acting.
