The complaints against her will be familiar to regular readers. The Democrats passed a billion dollars in new taxes for an education initiative and Brown still intends to hobble them with a carbon cap and trade scheme, even if she has to implement it by executive order. She pushed through the bill to give drivers licences to illegal aliens and is accused of not acting to adequately protect citizens from domestic terrorists like Antifa.

In order to pull this off, the GOP has their work cut out for them. According to the rules covering recalls, once the initial request to begin recall proceedings is complete, they will need to gather petition signatures equaling 15% of the total votes cast for governor in each district. Given that the 2018 election attracted more than 1.7 million votes, they’ll probably be looking at a minimum of a quarter-million signatures and they’re only given 35 days to collect them.

Good luck, Oregon. What a disaster she is.

Most Oregon voters like her just fine.

Any governor can get recalled any time, and I doubt that Brown is immune. But not over this, and not as a result of efforts by Rs.

Tempting as it may be, they will just elect another ****bag tax-collector-for-the welfare-state Democrat.

Oregon Republicans should vote against the recall and really run the state into the ground. Only then will the Republicans, or perhaps a third party, have a chance. A recall will just be exchanging one communist for another.

Her approval rate in the 40s. GOP hoping for a miracle. Unlikely to get it.

The dems should take note.

These policies are those promoted by "the squad". When even a liberal state wants to recall a governor promoting the same policies, it does not bode well for the dems in 2020.

The balance of the nation is fighting back against the insanity of the far left. Now that Trump has painted "the squad" as the face of the dem party, the dems are sunk.
