So what? You still haven't come up with a good reason why Nathan Bedford Forrest should be honored.

Of course. There is nothing logical about honoring Nathan Bedford Forrest. Confederate general who fought for a horrible cause. In addition, the founder of the KKK.

Whats with all the "we", its not a federal observation and you dont live in TN, so why are so many of you up in arms about it?

Forrest's statue was finally taken down today:
Nathan Bedford Forrest statue along I-65 removed after more than 2 decades

The Battle of Nashville Trust issued a statement:
  • Forrest was not at the Battle of Nashville.
  • The property has no historical significance to the battle.
  • The statue was ugly.
  • Even Forrest would think it was was ugly.

I hope it triggers protests. No one has any business celebrating that KKK founder/criminal. Apparently there are still people who continue to pay homage to Confederate generals. As a Black male, I have no reason to celebrate ANY Confederate general. I have every reason to protest against it.
