Not racist — if Omar was a lily white and from Ireland but had the same deeply racist, anti-semetic, and vulgar anti American views people would feel the same way.
You just described Trump. I'm not sure he's Irish, but basically you prove the point. He gets away with it because he's lilly white.
The implicitness of telling a group of minorities to go back where they came from is clearly racist. Arguing it's not is like arguing cross-burnings and men in white hoods are not racist b/c no names or ethnic slurs are used. It's an old racist trope that everyone, Left AND Right, w/ the slightest grasp on history correctly called.
Waters' efforts were to deny racists a safe space to enjoy everyday life. That's not the same as telling someone they need to be expelled from the country for being a minority that thinks differently than you.

Lily white isn't a minority in our country and her race is the predominant race of our country. Racist Trump wouldn't attack her ethnicity (especially since she's not from a "****hole" country as he says). He has golf course resorts there.
He'd attack her physical appearance ---call her nasty, disgusting, dumb, fat, ugly or whatever he does when insulting women.
Trump has mocked Americans for getting captured defending our rights, while he sat out with fake bone-spurs. SEND HIM AWAY.
Right. What Trump said about McCain is one of the most despicable things I've heard come out of anyone's mouth, let alone a POTUS, but maybe this helps explain things a bit better too...
Someone who tends to say despicable things, are they likely to be despicable people? I mean down deep, likely racists and bigots tend to be? Doesn't seem too much a stretch far as most people's rationale tends to work. Maybe Trump is not necessarily racist or a bigot in the classic sense. Maybe Trump is just a despicable person, regardless who he decides to insult!
Given Trump's record, maybe he is more an "equal opportunity" creep!
"Send her back" is the same as "Vote her out". Nothing racist about it.
Only they didn't say "Vote her out". Like the true Stalinist that the Trump base is, they chanted "Lock her up" event though she hasn't been found guilty of any crimes. Nothing like a Stalinist pig to promote locking up and deporting your political foes. 🐷
