As for getting goods manufactured in China (or "Jina" as Trump says it), his base doesn't care nor do they hold him responsible for not getting his own Trumpie goods produced in the U.S. The rules simply do not apply to their dear leader. He's used Chinese manufactured steel, most of his commercial vanity products have been produced in China. It doesn't matter because his supporters don't expect him to follow any rules that they insist others follow.

That's what's so ironic about the whole thing. His wingnut supporters don't know what the US Constitution says and it is the legal basis for the formation of a country they 'claim' they care about. The very freedoms wingnuts hate are ones that happen to be given to everyone by the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Manufacturers are already hard at work churning out banners for President Donald Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign — in China.
According to a Reuters report Wednesday, China’s Jiahao Flag Co. has produced more than 90,000 “Trump 2020: Keep America Great!” banners and flags since March, and the factory has ramped up production before Trump’s threatened tariffs against all Chinese-made goods kick on.
The banners and flags cost about $1 each to make, Reuters said, and a factory manager said Trump’s campaign suppliers appear to be trying to get their orders in before potential tariffs cause the price to rise.
Ironically, one of the Trump administration’s key messages to U.S. businesses and consumers has been to buy, and hire, American.
The president is dumb (or a narcissistic moron as some have more recently called him), as agreed upon by many who have attempted to work for or with him, but it turns out his base is even dumber.
